Welcome Tori!
The snow has finally melted, and summer is quickly approaching. This will be our first summer with our new Program Director, Tori Beckwith.
Tori is completing her senior year at Liberty University where she is receiving a B.S. in Camp and Outdoor Adventure Leadership. Tori has been involved with Camp since she was young and has found that camp ministry is the calling that God has placed on her heart. She is excited to foster new relationships, develop amazing programming, and help advance the Kingdom of God this summer.
We are excited to have Tori join our team and we cannot wait to see how the Lord is going to use her to help grow Camp Burton. If you see Tori this summer, make sure to stop and welcome her into the Camp Burton family.

Summer Camp
Our summer camp theme this year is “Get Connected”, and our main verse is Colossians 1:17 – “He is above all things, and in him all things hold together.” Our goal is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and teach the kids (and staff) the importance of being connected to Jesus and his Church.
Tori has been working hard recruiting summer staff. Although Tori is still in school, she has already been working part-time for Camp since January, getting ready for the summer. Please pray that God will be glorified through our staff, guest pastors, and programs.
In other good news, Camp was recently awarded a $4,500 grant for 2022 summer camp scholarships from In His Steps Foundation. We also received a $1,000 donation for summer scholarships from Evangel Baptist Church. So, we have $5,500 in scholarship funds available to help kids and families attend Camp this summer!
Please contact Dave if you know of anyone who needs financial assistance at david@campburton.org or call the Camp office at 440-834-8984.

PROJECT 50k
Camp’s NEXT CHAPTER continues with PROJECT 50k. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fund more facility improvements and program additions: build a new Giant Swing (55′ high!); install water bottle fill stations around camp; repair and pave a portion of Camp’s roadway; add new exterior siding for Len Hall and Maple Inn; and more.
The great news is that we are already halfway there! An anonymous donor has pledged $25,000 to “match” other donations to PROJECT 50k. This means that every dollar donated will be 100% matched up to the $25,000 amount. We would love to unlock the entire $25,000 gift.
